About the event

Location: CIIS in Area 5 on the 5th floor.

In this free talk, Jonalyn Blaha, Psy.D. will discuss her research of the different stages of the deep psychic and somatic processes of a psychedelic experience in the context of movement (archetypal experiences). She will show that it is through spiritual experiences and altered states of consciousness that emotional trauma can be excavated out of the body (the shadow), laying the groundwork for the birth of a new self.

Jonalyn's research is a necessarily important consideration in the Transpersonal discourse as well as for the therapeutic implications of future psychedelic psychotherapy. Additionally, she will share her model for working with psychedelics in a therapeutic context.

This talk will be live on zoom: https://ciis.zoom.us/j/295923925
